Tonight, I would like to share with you some of my favourite pictures I took during a family photo session with Emma Reed and her family. I’ve been following Emma for quite some time on her Instagram account. Her passion for eco-living and sustainability resonated with me. She shares some amazing advice on Instagram and her blog is packed with helpful reviews and ideas. If you are thinking of becoming a little more eco friendly but don’t know where to start, check her website for simple ideas.
Emma is also a mum of two boys (Jake and William) and after following her I saw how much they love to be outdoors and discover new places. I knew I must get in touch and collaborate with her. We were planning our session for a long time and set a date at the beginning of the year. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, our session had to be postponed. A few months later, however, we managed to set a date (after a couple were rescheduled due to bad weather!). The evening was just perfect, and it was so lovely to finally meet Emma in person and meet her family.
If you have been following me for some time now, you know how much I love sunset photo sessions. This was no exception and so worth keeping the kids awake for a little longer. We were following the sun and just enjoying being in nature. William was so lovely and kept showing me a little grass stalk which was just adorable.
We enjoyed lots of different activities and one favourite for boys was to run underneath the blanket. William also wanted to be lifted inside the blanket and going up and up and up! We also had a few quieter moments sitting on the blanket and enjoying family cuddles.
I had a great time during this family photo session. It was lovely to have a nice chat with Emma and learn a little bit more about her and her family.
Make sure you visit her blog! You will be amazed by all useful and honest reviews on eco-living, parenting and sustainability. Emma has also written a little blog with her experience of our session and I am forever grateful for such kind words.
Till next time
