When clients get in touch to book their family photo session I always jump with excitement. There is nothing more beautiful than capturing family happiness and freezing that beautiful moment in time. As a mum, I know how important it is to have images that you can look back at and cherish for years to come. Planning a family photoshoot for Zoe and her family was great. I have previously photographed her little boy at Baby sensory and was excited to meet all the family for this photoshoot.
Zoe lives in a beautiful village and she suggested that the family photo session could take place in the fields behind her home. The field she mentioned sounded fabulous and I was excited to shoot there.
When I arrived at Zoe’s home, she welcomed me with a smile and her little boy looked adorable wearing his little chino trousers and a shirt.
Together we walked to the field and set on a beautiful spot with long grass and a tree behind us.
Teddy was very cheeky and he loved being thrown in the air and sitting on daddy’s shoulders. He also loved cuddles and exploring. I enjoyed looking at him touching the grass and feeling the different textures of the flowers.
Babies and toddlers are so interested in the outside world. They love looking at nature and hearing the birds singing. They observe so many things around them and learn so much from their parents. Zoe and Alex were great at showing Teddy flowers and pointing at birds. He also laughed at nursery songs and one of his favourite toys at the moment is Po from the Teletubbies.
