I absolutely love spring as it’s so wonderful to see the trees blossoming and the first daffodils and crocuses appearing. You can feel the warmth of the sun on your face and you just want to be outside and enjoying every minute of this wonderful season! Spring is also a time when bluebells taking over the woodlands for few weeks and is the perfect time for a family photo session with bluebells in Basingstoke!
Bluebell mini sessions are some of my favourite sessions to shoot and I can capture you and your children playing amongst these amazing flowers. It’s also guaranteed fun with the kids as they are free to roam and have fun tin woods. It’s great to be outdoors and explore woodlands during this beautiful time.
Before arriving to UK I had never seen so many woodlands with bluebells and they truly are an amazing British phenomenon worth celebrating!
I have had lots of fun capturing some lovely families last year in the bluebell woods. These sessions took place in Micheldever woods and they start around mid April and last till the beginning of May. I am looking forward to meeting new families this year and taking lots and lots of photos for you to have and cherish with your family.
To make the sessions a little easier with the little ones I also come equipped with props! Usually they end up on my head, so I get children’s attention but this time we played peek-a-boo with Sweep! 😊
Bluebells sessions are very popular and therefore early booking is advisable. Also remember they are here for only about three weeks a year!
