Today I would like to share with you some of my favourite images from a newborn session I had just before we went into lockdown. It was lovely to meet a new family and they were so local to me too. As a newborn and family photographer in Basingstoke I am so grateful when I meet local families. It’s great to have a community around you and build that important relationship between you and the client.
Steph was very welcoming and her oldest son Teddy was great fun! He loves music and was so happy when I was singing “sleeping bunnies”. He was full of energy and very well behaved throughout our session. I also enjoyed looking at the connection and the relationship he had with his dad. It was just great to see. Teddy loves cuddles and lots and lots of tickles. Beau, Teddy’s little brother was six weeks old when we had our session but he was already so alert. You forget so quickly how much babies change in those first few weeks.

I hope after seeing some of my sessions and my portfolio you notice that I love focusing on real connections, genuine smiles, gentle touches and those warm cuddles. There is no posing and if you don’t like to pose – THAT’S GREAT, me either so we are a perfect match. I am forever grateful to all those families who have trusted me during our family lifestyle photography and I am excited to meet many more.
