It was the second time I visited Iza and Piotr at their home. This time with the addition of a new family member, their newborn baby girl. I am always grateful when I am invited to client homes to document this important stage in their lives. I enjoyed the maternity photo session with Iza and Piotr and you can see some pictures from their session on my other blog. This time I would like to share with you our newborn photography session.
My photo session with Iza and Piotr took place when their little baby girl was about two weeks. She was still so tiny! When I arrived she was peacefully sleeping in her moses basket. As a newborn photographer, I always want to capture a sleeping newborn baby! They look so peaceful when they are sleeping. It’s the time where I can take the shots of their beautiful tiny faces, hands, feet and full body. Once I have enough pictures of the baby, I ask parents to pick up the baby. My aim is to get those beautiful pictures of a sleeping baby and cuddles with mummy and daddy. Helena was so peaceful throughout the session and even when we picked her up she continued sleeping, aww…
I saw so much love from Iza and Piotr towards their newborn baby girl. During the session, I said to Piotr “I can see so much love in your eyes for Helena” when he was hugging her close to his face. It was beautiful to see. Iza as a new mum was so calm and she was glowing with happiness and love as well.
The maternity and newborn baby gallery are already with Iza and Piotr and they are now selecting their final images for the family photo album. I simply cannot wait to start creating a beautiful album for them. I am sure it will be treasured for years to come and be a beautiful family keepsake.
