A couple of weeks ago I travelled to Andover for another lovely newborn photoshoot. Jemma and Steven welcomed me to their home with beautiful smiles. I could feel their happiness and was excited to start our newborn photoshoot. When I saw their little boy, I could also not stop smiling. He was tiny and reminded me of when my girls were newborns.
Do you remember the first few days with your newborn baby? Do you remember how you felt? When Sophie came into this world I couldn’t believe she was mine. Her button nose, beautiful blue eyes, tiny hands and feet were just perfect.
I felt an amazing bond, love and connection from Jemma and Steven towards their baby boy. They cuddled him, talked to him, kissed him so much. It was wonderful to see their happiness. During our session, Jemma also showed me a picture of herself when she was a baby. Her little boy is just the spitting image of his beautiful mum.
During our newborn photo session, we took images in the parent’s bedroom and also in a beautifully decorated baby nursery. Jemma decorated the baby nursery in lovely natural and green colours, creating a calm and peaceful environment. I enjoyed looking at the details and wonderful wooded toys and books.
We also took a few more newborn images in their lounge which had a lovely large window. I immediately wanted to shoot using this great space. We had a lovely day too and the light in the room was perfect.
This newborn photo session was thoroughly enjoyable and Jemma and Steven are amazing parents to their boy. They will see him grow, see him saying first words, taking first steps and being there for him.
