A couple of weeks ago I photographed a family of five. The newborn photoshoot was full of fun and giggles. I do enjoy it when I can photograph siblings together with a newborn baby. The oldest sister was so sweet with her baby brother. Caring and so gentle with him. The younger brother was very excited to hold his baby brother too. He had so much energy and I enjoyed his cheeky personality.
Mum and dad did a brilliant job with session preparation. The session felt relaxed and filled with love. The newborn baby boy was as good as gold. He slept most of the session. We also had a moment when he was awake and looking at his parents and siblings. I enjoyed it when the family were just themselves. One of my favourite images from the session was when all family were sitting on the bed interacting with each other and being silly. Those moments are the ones not to forget.
During my newborn photo sessions, I might guide you and ask you to do something, but then it’s you who is creating magic. It is the love you have for your family that makes the photo session a success. I am there to release the shutter and click but how you interact and focus with each other makes the session just perfect.
