A couple of weeks ago I wrote a blog about the benefits of an outdoor family photo session. Most of my outdoor sessions take place during the spring/summer and autumn months. This doesn’t mean however you cannot have an outdoor family photo session in the winter.
The images I am sharing with you today were taken in February this year. It was the third time I photographed this beautiful family. They have purchased a milestone package meaning I can see them 4 times in the year. I first met with Jolene and Matt at their home and took maternity shots, then we met when they welcomed their baby boy. My third session (the one I am sharing today) was three months after the birth.
This session was very special as Alaric’s grandma joined us for the photoshoot. Jolene and Matt are originally from Australia and Granny flew all the way to UK to meet her grandson. It felt great to capture the special family moments for them. We were also blessed with lovely winter sun and the location was peaceful and beautiful.
I cannot wait for our fourth session and this time it will be with Jolene’s parents. I am looking forward to seeing Alaric again and seeing how much he has grown in those next coming months.
